Watersports Touring Costa Rica

Cancun’s Playa del Amor can provide the perfect atmosphere for your very own water park. The nearby coral reefs in the area come in many vibrant shades, making the perfect backdrop for scuba diving, snorkeling, and other water activities. Besides all of the great shore excursions, there are several local operators that offer dolphin cruises and visits to nature preserves.

La Selva

The island of La Selva is located just a short bike ride from several of the best beaches along the northern coast. The island is easy to get to and the island itself is very colorful. Some of the biggest attractions on the island include their variety of birds, all the different species of tropical fruits, as well as coral reefs and some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling to be found.

Ocracoke Islands

The Ocracoke Islands are located just 30 minutes from the North Carolina coast. Similar to the Puerto Rico, Ocracoke is a collection of little islands, each one offering a secluded getaway. One of the best beaches on the island is the North Beach, and probably the most worthwhile beach on the island, offering beautiful light that often goes off at odd times. Tarpon will be Ducks, buzzards, and wood turtles.

New island, New people, New memories

Though much of the Ocracoke Islands remain uninhabited, the tourism industry has been growing. The addition of Northumberland Plantation has brought many North Carolina natives and retired people to the area. So, even though much of the Ocracoke Islands remain uninhabited, don’t worry, there are plenty of activities to partake in.

Besides the fun of being on a beautiful island, North Carolina Plantation also offers all the history of the colonies. Carolina Plantation is not only fun and exciting, but educational as well. If you are going to be visiting the Ocracoke Islands, it only makes sense to stay on North Carolina Plantation and experience what life was like in the mid- 1700s.
